The album “Getz/Gilberto” was released in 1964, creating a Bossa Nova craze that swept through the United States. Fast forward 50 years, and a group in Los Angeles is reviving this classic sound. Come celebrate the anniversary of this special album as Bossa Zuzu performs fresh arrangements of these classic songs as well as songs from their new album, “Under Leaves Under Sky”. Co-led by saxophonist Dan Reckard and guitarist/vocalist Capital, the group will also feature award winning flutist Rumi, acclaimed drummer/percussionist Kevin Yokota as well as special guests.

I'm 52 and heard “Getz/Gilberto” way back in once-upon-a-time time when my father played it. I've loved it ever since.
